super juicy and chocolatey

Put the very soft or semi-melted butter in a bowl, then add all the dry ingredients and finally the eggs and yogurt. Using a whisk, beat everything until smooth. Pour into a baking tray lined with baking paper, spread evenly and top with the drained pears. Now, in a new bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar and butter to form crumbs. Spread these evenly over the baking tray. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 160°C (top/bottom heat) for 35 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 180°C and bake for a further 5 minutes. It’s fantastic served slightly warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but it’s also delicious served cold.
