Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • ½ cup milk (cream cup)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 150 g Parmesan
  • 500 g pasta (macaroni)
  • salt water
  • 250 g bacon
  • 1 onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the macaroni in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, cut the bacon into small cubes and fry in a pan. Once the bacon is browned, add the onion and let it become translucent. Whisk the heavy cream, milk, eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper together in a bowl and let stand. Drain the cooked pasta and then stir in the bacon and sauce. Let stand, covered, for about 5 minutes. Tip: When making a dish with bacon, always fry the bacon first. This way, you don’t need any additional fat.
