Italian chicken pasta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 250 g green beans
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • some salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • e.g. fresh basil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash and trim the beans, and blanch them in salted water for about 10 minutes. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Wash the chicken breast fillet, pat dry, and cut into strips. Heat the olive oil in a suitable pan and fry the chicken strips. Wash the tomatoes, add them to the chicken along with the beans, and fry for 2 minutes. Drain the pasta and add it to the vegetable and chicken mixture. Season the dish with salt and freshly ground pepper. Garnish the chicken pasta with fresh basil, if desired, and serve.
