Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 ml apple juice
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 lemon(s), juice and zest
- 200 ml cream
- e.g. apple, fresh
- n. B. almond flakes
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 20 minutes
delicious quick dessert with applesauce
In a pan, combine cornstarch with a little apple juice, add all the remaining ingredients, and mix well. Heat, stirring constantly, until the cream thickens, but do not boil (otherwise the egg will curdle). Refrigerate for a few hours, then fold in the stiffly whipped cream and serve in glasses or small bowls. Garnish with fresh apple slices and toasted almond flakes, if desired.
