Poppy seed and cherry muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 ml oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of poppy seeds (poppy seed baking)
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 ml milk
  • 250 g cherries

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, vigorously mix the eggs, oil, and sugar with the poppy seed mixture. Stir in the flour and baking powder. Add the milk until the mixture is smooth and not too thick. Fold in the pitted cherries (let them drain first, otherwise it might be too runny) and divide the mixture between 12 muffin cups (in the tray). After 20-25 minutes, remove from the oven at 180°C, let cool, and enjoy. The muffins taste deliciously poppy seeds and fruity from the cherries.
