Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g margarine
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 5 drops of bitter almond flavoring or rum flavoring
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • some sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Own creation

Sift the flour and baking powder into a large bowl. Mix in the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the margarine, water, and flavoring. Knead thoroughly with a hand mixer fitted with a dough hook, first on the lowest speed, then on the highest speed. Shape the dough into logs and chill for a while. Cut the logs into 0.5cm-thick slices. Lightly press the tops of the slices into sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes. Tip: Instead of the flavoring, you can also add 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to the dough.
