Mulled wine tips

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 150 g grated chocolate coating
  • 250 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 125 ml wine (mulled wine)
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp wine (mulled wine, – 5 tbsp)
  • 120 g almonds (chopped & roasted) for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the eggs. Combine the flour with the baking powder and gently stir in along with the mulled wine. This, combined with the chocolate coating, creates a smooth, soft dough. Spread the dough onto a greased baking sheet and bake at 200°C (400°F) on the middle rack for about 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool. Then cover with glaze, sprinkle with almonds, and cut into diamond shapes.
