Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g quark
- 6 chocolate kisses
- 3 packets of vanilla sugar
- 50 g sugar
- 125 ml cream
- 50 g meringue(s)
- ½ tsp, leveled gingerbread spice
- 1 jar applesauce
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
with gingerbread spice
Whip the cream and chill. Mix the quark, vanilla sugar, sugar, gingerbread spice, and 4 marshmallows with a hand mixer. Carefully fold in the whipped cream. Add 2 marshmallows and roughly mix in. Break the meringue into large pieces—do not use powdered sugar—and fold in. Alternate the cream and applesauce into dessert bowls or glasses. Top with the cream and decorate with the marshmallows or a meringue. Chill for 2-3 hours. Remove from the refrigerator about 10 minutes before serving, otherwise the applesauce will be too cold. Only prepare the dessert on the day it is to be eaten, as otherwise the meringue pieces will dissolve.
