Baked apple dessert with yogurt and meringue

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 apples
  • 1 cinnamon stick(s)
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • 1 handful of almond flakes
  • 300 g yogurt
  • 2 handfuls of meringue(s)
  • 1 drop of vanilla extract

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Toast the almond slivers in a pan without oil until golden brown. Crumble the meringue. Chop the apples and simmer in a saucepan with the lemon juice, cinnamon stick, and vanilla until soft and falling apart. Layer everything in suitable dessert bowls as follows: meringue, yogurt, apples, almonds, etc. until nothing remains. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
