Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g beef rib(s) (prime rib)
- 200 g onion(s)
- 1 carrot(s)
- 100 ml beer
- 300 ml vegetable stock
- 2 tsp paprika powder, hot
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 clove(s) garlic

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Chop the meat into small pieces and fry in a pan with a little oil. Chop the carrot (peeled or unpeeled) into small pieces and add it to the pan. Peel the onion, cut into eighths, and add it as well. Briefly simmer the meat juices, then add the beer, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic, and tomato paste. Bring back to a boil. Now add the vegetable stock. Stir and simmer with the lid on for one hour. The goulash can be served with rice or potatoes.
