Mushroom and spinach pan

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g leaf spinach with cream cheese, frozen
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 200 g mushrooms, brown
  • 150 g whipped cream
  • 150 g bacon cut into strips
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Dice the onions. Clean and slice the mushrooms. Defrost the spinach leaves. Fry the bacon strips in a pan, then place them on a separate plate. Briefly fry the diced onions, then add the defrosted spinach leaves and mix with the onions. A short time later, add the mushrooms to the pan and mix with the onions and spinach. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes. Add the cream to the pan and reduce over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Cut up the fried bacon strips and add to the pan. Simmer everything together under the lid for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the lid and continue to cook over medium heat until the desired consistency is reached.
