Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 kg Kasseler – comb without bone
- 3 onions
- 2 bell peppers
- 2 pickles
- 2 apples
- 2 cups of cream (200 ml each)
- 60 g sweet paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Shred the smoked pork and sear vigorously. Chop the remaining ingredients into small pieces and add them without the spices and cream. Simmer everything for about 10-15 minutes. Add paprika. Add cream and season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce, if desired. Do not boil again. Serve with tagliatelle or bread dumplings. Tip: If you like, you can also braise 500g of sauerkraut with the smoked pork. It’s also very tasty.
