Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 g sausage (Lyoner), cut into cubes
  • 2 large onions
  • 400 g tomato(s) (Pelati), from the can
  • 50 g bacon, fat, smoked
  • 1 red bell pepper(s) (omit if desired)
  • 1 cube of stock
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, crushed
  • Pepper, black or white as desired
  • Paprika powder, sweet as desired

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Kids also love it with Vienna sausages

Fry the bacon in a shallow pan, add the Lyoner cheese and onions, and sear everything until crisp. Add the pelati (canned tomatoes) with their juices and reduce the heat. Add the stock cube, spices, and crushed garlic. Peel the bell pepper with a vegetable peeler, if desired, and add it to the pan. Cook until mushy. If desired, add a little water to thicken the sauce. Serve with tagliatelle pasta.
