Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

The cake will be nice and moist and will keep well for a few days

Pour the ingredients into the jar in the order listed. Add the following baking instructions to the jar: Empty 1 jar of baking mix into a bowl. Add 3 eggs, 125 ml oil, 125 ml sparkling mineral water, and, if desired, 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon or, for Christmas time, 1-2 teaspoons of gingerbread spice, and mix everything well. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Peel and dice 3 medium-sized apples. Finally, fold the apples into the batter and pour the batter into a greased 32 cm loaf pan, possibly lined with baking paper. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for approximately 70-80 minutes. Check if the cake is cooked through with a wooden skewer. Insert the skewer into the cake and remove it. If no batter sticks to it, the cake is done. Allow the cake to cool completely on a wire rack. The cake tastes best after 1-2 days and keeps well for a few days. The specified working time refers to filling the glass.
