Christmas version with apples

Let the apples soak in the 4 tablespoons of Amaretto. Make a dough from the ingredients for the pastry. Line the base and approximately 2 cm of the edge of a greased springform pan with 2/3 of the dough. Chill the rest. Pre-bake at 180°C for about 10 minutes. Beat the egg yolks with sugar until frothy. Stir in the quark, Amaretto, and custard powder. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Pour the quark mixture into the pre-baked base, scatter the Amaretto apples on top, drop the remaining dough onto the apples, and bake the cake for about 1 hour.
