Quick dessert with strawberries

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 large strawberries
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 scoops of strawberry or lemon ice cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Strawberries with olive oil and basil on ice

Remove the green tops from the strawberries and cut them into large cubes. In a bowl, first toss the strawberries with the vanilla sugar, then drizzle with the oil and stir again. Divide the ice cream between two dessert glasses. Arrange the strawberries directly over the ice cream. Roughly chop the basil leaves and sprinkle over the strawberries.
