- 5 egg yolks
- 200 g nuts, ground
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 150 g sugar
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 jar Nutella
- 4 bananas
- 5 cups of cream (200 g each)
- 5 packs of cream stiffener
- 1 packet of vanilla sauce powder from Dr. Oetker (dessert sauce without cooking)
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 1 pack of almond flakes
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
For the base, mix the flour with the baking powder, add the egg, egg yolk, ground nuts, sugar, and oil, and mix to a smooth batter. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan lined with baking paper and bake at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25-30 minutes. Heat the Nutella and spread some of it on the cooled base. Halve the bananas and place them on the Nutella. Beat 3 cups of cream with 3 packets of cream stiffener and the vanilla sauce powder until stiff, then spread on the bananas. Beat 2 cups of cream with cream stiffener until stiff, then pour on the vanilla mixture. Heat the sugar in a pan and carefully caramelize the flaked almonds, taking care not to brown them. Let the flaked almonds cool on baking paper. Decorate the cake with the remaining Nutella. If you want to make the recipe on a baking sheet, double the amount of base and flaked almonds. The amount of cream mixture remains the same.
