Chicken breast in maple syrup with fruit

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 500 ml maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, more if needed
  • 1 can pineapple, chopped
  • 1 can peach(s), sliced
  • n. B. Pfeffer
  • n. B. Salt
  • some flour
  • e.g. paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 10 minutes

Chicken breast with a twist

Pour maple syrup into a sealable bowl. Stir in seasonings to taste and add garlic. Add the chicken breast, cover the bowl, and let it sit overnight (preferably). Coat the chicken breast in flour before frying, then fry. Just before the chicken breast is done, add the pineapple, peaches, and syrup from the bowl and simmer briefly. French fries and croquettes are good side dishes.
