Chicken breast in Marsala

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 4 slice(s) ham, smoked
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup crème fraîche or sweet cream
  • 4 tbsp Marsala
  • 4 sage leaves
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Season the chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper, then top each with two sage leaves. Wrap with two slices of ham. Heat the oil and sear the chicken breast fillets on both sides, then reduce the heat to low and finish cooking. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Deglaze the stock with Marsala and stir in the crème fraîche. Season the sauce again with salt and pepper. Serve with rice and a fresh salad.
