Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter
- 1 egg(s)
- 250 g rock sugar
- 250 ml water
- 500 ml milk
- 500 g flour
- Cinnamon, lemon juice, rum flavoring, cardamom or cinnamon and anise
Instructions

For approx. 100 waffles
Dissolve the sugar and butter in warm water and let cool. Stir in the remaining ingredients and let stand for a while. Add more water if needed. Pour a thin layer (1 tablespoon) into a cone-shaped waffle iron, bake until golden brown, lift it off with a fork, and immediately roll it into a small cone. If the flour swells during the lengthy baking process and the batter becomes firmer, add more water. It’s best to store the waffles nestled inside each other and serve with whipped cream.
