Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 10 g Szechuan pepper
- 10 g pepper, green
- 10 g cubeb pepper
- 5 g star anise

Pepper mixture of three varieties with star anise
Roughly crush the star anise in a mortar and pestle, but only until the pieces are about the size of a peppercorn. This will retain enough of the aroma for fresh grinding later. Now mix thoroughly with the three types of pepper, then pour the pepper mixture into a mill and store in a dark place. It tastes best as a steak pepper with beef steaks, but also with many other dishes.
