Pasta with morel sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta, uncooked
  • 10 g morels, dried
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • Broth, granulated
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • 10 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Soak the morels in the milk for at least 15 minutes. Remove, rinse lightly, and chop finely. Pour the milk through a fine sieve (to filter out any sand grains) and collect it. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Dice the onion and fry in butter until translucent. Add the reserved milk, the cream, and the morels. Bring to a boil and reduce slightly, then season with salt, pepper, and stock. If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can thicken it a little. Mix with the pasta and serve immediately. I always cook this recipe by feel, so the quantities are rather loose. This one is for about 2 people. Tagliatelle is a great pasta dish. But even then, everyone should use their favorite pasta and amount.
