Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • 150 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • Sugar granules

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 42 minutes

Pastries not just for Advent

Beat the egg whites with the sugar until frothy, then add the cinnamon. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and stir in. Knead the hazelnuts and breadcrumbs into the dough. Form the dough into not-too-large balls and roll them in the sugar. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for about 12 minutes (check; each oven is different).
