Tyrolean nut cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g cornstarch
  • 350 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 1 jar jam (red currant jam)
  • 400 g nuts, ground
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 75 g butter, melted
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs of cake icing (chocolate glaze)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a dough from the first 6 ingredients and roll it out on a baking sheet. Spread the jam evenly over the dough. Mix the remaining ingredients until smooth, adding a little more water if necessary. Spread the nut mixture over the jam. Bake at approximately 175°C for 30 minutes. Once cooled, cover with the chocolate glaze and cut into small squares.
