Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g almonds
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tsp herbal salt
  • n. B. Herbal salt for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

roasted in the oven with olive oil and herb salt

Briefly blanch 200g of almonds in boiling water. Drain and refresh in ice-cold water. You can now easily remove the skins from the almonds using two fingers. Dry thoroughly. Pour the olive oil onto a baking tray. Add the peeled and unpeeled almonds and mix well with the oil. Sprinkle 3 teaspoons of herb salt over them and mix well again. Place the baking tray in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) and roast the almonds for about 15-20 minutes, turning them over occasionally. When the peeled almonds begin to brown slightly, remove the tray from the oven. Place the almonds on kitchen paper and carefully turn them over to absorb any excess fat. Sprinkle more herb salt on them if desired.
