Italian schnitzel roulades

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 thin pork schnitzels, each approx. 125 g
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • 8 slices of salami
  • 2 onions
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, peeled
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Flatten the pork schnitzels. Cut the mozzarella into 8 slices. Season the schnitzels with pepper and top each with 2-3 slices of salami and 2 slices of mozzarella. Roll everything up tightly and secure with roulade pins. Heat the olive oil and brown the roulades all over. Peel and chop the onions, and add them. Chop the tomatoes slightly and add them, then bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Serve with pasta.
