Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 beef roulades
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 4 onions
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce, sweet
  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • possibly starch flour, for binding

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the roulades into strips, along with the peppers and onions. Blanch the tomatoes in hot water, peel and deseed them, remove the stems, and cut into pieces. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the meat strips in batches. Place the meat strips in a saucepan or a large, lidded frying pan. Add the peppers, onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, and stiffly whipped cream. Season with curry, salt, and pepper, and simmer covered over low heat for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. If desired, thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch and season again. Rice goes best with this dish.
