Chili – cinnamon – sugar

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, rose hot
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 6 small chili peppers, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Grind the chilies in a mortar and pestle, then mix with the sugar and other spices. Store in an airtight container. The chili-cinnamon sugar can be used in a variety of dishes. It’s especially good for spicing up grilled fruit like pineapple, mango, strawberries, etc., but it can also be used to make ice cream (in which case simply use the chili sugar instead of regular sugar). You can, of course, adjust the amount of chili to your personal taste or replace it with chili powder. When using chili powder, make sure it’s pure chili powder and not a mixture with garlic and all sorts of other ingredients! The chili-cinnamon sugar can be stored for about 2-3 weeks.
