Quince-elderberry jelly with red wine

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 ml juice (elderberry juice)
  • 500 ml juice (quince juice)
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 1 orange(s), the juice
  • ½ vanilla pod(s)
  • ¼ stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 1 packet of gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 1 sachet of citric acid

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a rolling boil for about 4-5 minutes. Pour hot into prepared jars and screw on the lids. Uses: You can use a little of this jelly to flavor gravy and/or game sauces, or stir it into salad dressing for “winter salads.” Or simply enjoy it on bread rolls or bread.
