Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g cream
- 1 small onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- Salt
- Sugar
- herbs, to taste
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
with homemade butter made from cream
In a screw-top jar, add the cream, finely diced onion, crushed garlic, salt, a pinch of sugar, and herbs to taste. Screw the lid back on and shake. I find the spices combine better this way than using ready-made butter. At some point while shaking, you’ll think you can’t go any further, but keep shaking, and a short time later, it’ll be easy again. Rinse your hands thoroughly under cold water and, with wet hands, squeeze out the ready-made butter (i.e., separate the liquid that forms from the solid mass) and shape it into the desired form.
