Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 250 g cane sugar
  • 60 g honey, warmed
  • 60 g butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ tsp lemon peel flavoring
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • lemon juice
  • Jam or icing for assembling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Christmas baking

Combine all the dough ingredients in a bowl with a dough hook, then transfer to a floured surface to form a dough. Cut out the stars in four different sizes. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (convection oven) for about 10 minutes. Mix about 100g of powdered sugar with lemon juice and a little water. Once cooled, stack the stars with icing or jam, staggering the layers, and decorate with icing.
