Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 370 g flour
  • 250 g margarine, soft
  • 170 g powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 handful of ginger, candied

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

enough for about 60 pieces

Knead the flour, margarine, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar by hand (it’s very difficult to do with a mixer). Finely chop the candied ginger and fold it in. Chill the dough for about 1 hour. Roll out the dough, cut out shapes as desired, and place the cookies on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes. The cookies will still be soft when they come out of the oven, but they will harden as they cool.
