Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix to form a dough. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Cut out round pastry discs about 6cm in diameter (using a glass or cup is best). Place the scones on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush with a little milk. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat) (200°C fan oven) for about 15 minutes, until golden brown. Cut the scones while they’re still warm and spread with jam or butter, as desired.
