Crispy white chocolate-lemon-ginger cookies with almonds

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 140 g flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 60 g sugar, brown
  • 50 g sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tsp, levelled ginger powder, or to taste
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • n. B. almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Combine butter, sugar, salt, ginger powder, and vanilla sugar. Then mix in the flour and baking powder. Fold half of the chocolate and lemon juice into the batter. Place the dough in the refrigerator and chill for half an hour. Then form into small balls and flatten. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate and flaked almonds over the cookies. Bake the whole thing in the oven at 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 10 minutes (each oven will vary).
