Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g cream
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 500 g flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ lemon(s), grated peel
  • Fat and flour for the baking tray
  • 125 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 200 g almond sticks or
  • Nuts, chopped

Pour the cream into a mixing bowl, add the sugar and vanilla sugar, mix, and gradually add the eggs. Stir in the flour, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest. Spread the batter onto a greased and floured baking sheet. Bake in an electric oven at 200°C for 15 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the icing: Mix softened butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and milk. Add the almonds. Remove the cake from the oven and carefully spread the icing evenly over the cake. Bake for another 10 minutes.
