fun spice cookies for every season
Open the cardamom pods and crush the seeds in a mortar. This really tastes better than store-bought! Mix the flour, sugar, and spices. Stir in the butter in small pieces and knead into crumbles. Add the egg and knead into a smooth dough. Divide the dough in half and knead one half with 2 tablespoons of cocoa, 1 teaspoon of butter, and the grated chocolate. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3-4 mm and cut out cookies using a monster cookie cutter. Roughly knead the remaining white and black pieces together and cut out marbled cookies. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes. If you want to bake this in the summer, simply replace the cinnamon and cardamom with lemon and orange zest to make refreshing monster cookies.
