Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 60 g mealworm flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 115 g butter
  • 10 g cocoa powder
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Combine flour, mealworm flour, sugar, salt, butter cut into small pieces, cocoa powder, and egg in a bowl and knead into a dough. Shape the dough into a log and wrap it in cling film. Place the log in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. If the log is too long, you can also divide it into two pieces. Cut the dough into approximately 1 cm thick slices and place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (top/bottom heat) for 30 minutes. Then, let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
