Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 kohlrabi, cut into fries
  • 6 carrots, cut into 1 cm wide slices
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g cream
  • ½ bunch curly parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Melt the butter in a small casserole dish and fry the diced onions until translucent. Add the kohlrabi sticks and carrot slices and simmer gently with the water for about 15 minutes, until the vegetables are still firm to the bite. After 7 minutes, pour in the cream and simmer uncovered in the casserole dish. The cream and water should now have become a creamy sauce. Stir in salt and pepper, sprinkle with the parsley, and serve.
