Chocolate pretzel confectionery

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 portions of dough (pretzels), frozen, with pretzel salt
  • 100 g chocolate or couverture

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

For all those who like to spread Nutella on pretzels, for about 15 pieces

Let the pretzels thaw slightly for about 30 minutes. Untie the knots and cut each into about 5 pieces. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, season with salt if desired, and bake in the oven according to the package instructions. Then let cool. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a container, e.g., in the microwave, in a double boiler, or using the residual heat of the oven. Dip the pretzels into the chocolate and let them dry thoroughly, e.g., on the cooled baking sheet or on aluminum foil; the chocolate will easily detach from the pretzels. Tip: Instead of pretzels, you can also use small pretzel sticks.
