Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g butter
  • 125 g brown sugar
  • 50 g sugar syrup
  • 350 g oat flakes
  • 70 g raisins
  • 50 g date(s), chopped
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g chocolate, dark

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the butter, sugar, and syrup in a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring constantly, until melted, then add the oats. Next, spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Once melted, bake the oat mixture on the middle rack until golden brown but still soft. Remove the oatmeal cookies from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes. Then cut the cookies into rectangles and let them cool completely. Finally, remove the cookies from the baking sheet. Variations: For fruity cookies, add 70g of raisins. If you add 50g of chopped dates and 50g of sunflower seeds and replace the syrup with honey, you’ll have a delicious granola bar. For those with a sweet tooth, you can coat the bars in chocolate. Melt 50g of dark chocolate and dip the bars halfway into the glaze.
