Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 230 g flour
  • 220 g hazelnuts, ground
  • Cake icing, for decorating

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

First, cream the softened butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Then, stir in the egg whites and grated lemon zest, followed by the flour and nuts. Chill the finished dough for at least an hour. Then, fill a piping bag with portions of dough and pipe sticks, curls, or “S” shapes onto a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Place the cookies in the preheated oven. Baking temperature: 175 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Baking time: approx. 10 minutes. Cool the cookies completely on a wire rack and decorate with chocolate glaze.
