Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g rice pudding
- 300 ml water
- ½ tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 tsp salt
- 600 ml milk
- n. B. sugar
- e.g. cinnamon
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes
Combine rice, water, fat, and salt in a large enough pot, bring to a boil, and simmer gently with the lid on for about 10 minutes. Then stir in the milk, bring back to a boil, and add sugar and/or cinnamon, if desired. Remove the pot from the heat and let it rest on a wooden board with the lid on for at least 1.5 hours, or longer if desired. Stir thoroughly at the end – done!
