Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, white, dried
  • 300 ml meat broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely diced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • e.g. marjoram
  • e.g. parsley
  • n. B. Salt
  • n. B. Pfeffer
  • n. B. vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Soak the beans in water overnight, then boil them for 50-60 minutes until tender and drain. Melt the butter, gently brown the finely diced onion, add the flour, pour in the meat broth, and season with parsley, marjoram, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Add the cooked beans to the sauce and simmer gently over low heat for a while. If desired, add a little vinegar. The quantities vary.
