White cabbage with giant beans

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small head of white cabbage
  • 1 jar beans, white (giant beans), approx. 400 g
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 50 g bacon cubes, lean
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp cream cheese
  • some parsley, flat
  • ½ tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Tastes good even without bacon.

Sauté the diced ham and coarsely chopped onion in a little olive oil, then coarsely shred the white cabbage and add it. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, then uncovered for 5 minutes. Rinse the beans and add them. Heat through, stir in the cream cheese and mustard. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Top with parsley.
