Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 pointed peppers
  • 150 g pasta (spaghetti, bavette or glass noodles)
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 50 ml oil
  • Oil, for frying
  • chili powder
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the pointed peppers and cut into 0.5 cm rings. Finely dice the garlic. Mix the soy sauce with the sugar, oil, and chili powder to taste. Bring the pasta water to a boil. Sauté the garlic in a pan with a little oil. When it starts to smell, add the peppers and fry. When the water boils, cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Just before the noodles are done, add the soy, oil, and sugar mixture to the peppers. Mix the noodles with the vegetables and season to taste before serving. If there is too little liquid, add more oil and soy sauce in the same proportions. Tip: This also works great with asparagus.
