Mandarin quark dessert

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 2 oranges, juice
  • Sugar
  • milk or 0.5 cup cream
  • 7 tangerines

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk the low-fat quark with the juice of the two oranges and sugar until creamy. If desired, add a little milk or stir in half a cup of stiffly whipped cream. Season to taste. Peel 6 mandarins and carefully remove the white pith. Once peeled, halve the fruit, thinly slice, and layer the mandarins and quark alternately in dessert bowls. Peel and slice the last mandarin orange, and use it to garnish the dessert.
