Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 g margarine
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 200 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 6 tbsp rum

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Beat the sugar, margarine, vanilla sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Add the cornstarch, flour, and baking powder and mix until smooth. Stir in the chocolate sprinkles and hazelnuts with the rum. Preheat oven to 200°C (170°C fan-assisted). Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Using two teaspoons, place small mounds of dough onto the baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes (or more like 15 minutes). This cooks quickly. Best stored in a sealed container. Perfect for the Christmas season or with coffee or tea.
