Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 potatoes
  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 pack of feta cheese
  • 1 pack of meat sausage
  • 4 gherkins
  • 2 pinches of pepper
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 5 stalks of parsley
  • 8 sprigs of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

with peppers, feta and sausage

Peel and rinse the potatoes, and slice them (not too thickly). Cut the sausage, feta cheese, bell peppers, and gherkins into any desired size. Chop the chives and parsley into small pieces. Tear the basil leaves into small pieces (do not chop). Heat olive oil in a pan. First, fry the potatoes until they begin to brown (tossing them occasionally). Then add the sausage and sear on all sides. Then add the bell peppers, gherkins, and feta cheese. Season to taste with pepper, salt, parsley, chives, and basil. Let the entire mixture rest in the pan for a few minutes. Taste occasionally to see if any additional seasoning is needed. Tip: A splash of cucumber water or whiskey adds a wonderful aromatic touch to the dish.
