  • 1 tsp chili powder (ancho chili powder) spice level 2 out of 10

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

“divine”

Fry the ground beef in a pan with a little oil (vegetable oil) until crispy and crumbly. Then transfer it to a bowl and let it cool slightly. Place the pizza dough on a baking sheet (line with parchment paper if necessary) and roll it out thinly. Then score 1/3 of the dough on two opposite sides with a knife. Spread the ground beef evenly on the uncut surface. Arrange the diced tomatoes on the ground beef. Then spread half the grated cheese evenly over it. Now place the cut strips of dough crosswise over the filling in a “braided” shape and press down lightly. Usually, a jar of tomato sauce is included with the ready-made pizza dough. Pour this sauce into a bowl and mix in the ancho chili powder with salt and pepper. Lightly spread the sauce on the “bread lid” with a silicone brush and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven (200°C fan-assisted) and bake for approximately 15 minutes. You can also judge the doneness by eye.
