Nougat cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 75 g cornstarch
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 175 g butter
  • 100 g nougat
  • n. B. Chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 22 minutes

Make a dough with all the ingredients except the nougat. Chill for 30 minutes, then roll out to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out shapes (stars, flowers, circles, etc.). Make sure you have two of each type, as these will be double-decker cookies. Bake at 180°C for about 12 minutes. Spread each cookie with room-temperature nougat (if it’s too hard, you can also warm it up) and stick two cookies together. Decorate as desired, for example, with chocolate coating.
